No Funds for Repeat Child Care Violations Act of 2026
This bill subjects states to additional sanctions for improperly using funds under the Child Care and Development Block Grant program. The program provides grants to states to support child care programs for low-income working families.
Specifically, if the Office of the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) finds that a state has failed to comply substantially with the requirements of the program, the ACF must impose additional sanctions, which include disqualifying the state from receiving funds under the program.
Under current law, the ACF is permitted, but not required, to take such actions for a state's noncompliance.

Projections from swing-v2-dir, computed with data from before the vote. Present and not voting never count as breaking.
These members have less than half of the model’s inputs, so their scores are not banded or ranked.

Ringed dots broke with their party on the vote.
Ideology is each member’s score. The cluster low on the chart includes the bill’s 1 sponsor and cosponsor in the House: they have already committed, so they score as entrenched. 2 representatives without a DW-NOMINATE score or with insufficient data are not plotted.
Not applicable in the House. There is not enough similar voting history (weight 4.0 of 5.0 needed), so this input is left out of the score rather than counted as missing.
